    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE   THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORK OF THE URBAN LEAGUE OF EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS HOSTS CANDID CONVERSATIONS Roxbury, MA – August 20, 2014. It is election season for Massachusetts residents. There are so many important issues that need to be addressed. Whether it be violence in the community, education, the economy, or green energy, everyone needs to be heard. For the first time, the Young Professionals Network of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts (YPNULEM) is hosting a series entitled “Candid Conversations”. During this series, the community has the opportunity to speak to candidates directly and learn how each candidate stands on issues that matter the most to them. All are welcome to attend. Some of the participating candidates include Corey J. Allen, Sonia Chang-Diaz, Gloria Fox, Althea Garrison, and more. These candidates are running for seats that represent various cities and neighborhoods throughout Suffolk County and the Gubernatorial seat. As such, YPNULEM encourages everyone to come out and speak to their respective candidate or current elected official in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Light refreshments will be served. This event is supported by the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts and the Guild of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts.
